Ashley Duchossois

Ashley D. Joyce

Chairman

Ashley is Chairman of Duchossois Capital Management (DCM). 

She is the fourth generation to lead this privately held family business, headquartered in Chicago since 1916. DCM’s fiduciary board consists of four outside directors and four family members, and Ashley currently serves on the Governance and Nominating, Audit, and Investment and Finance committees.

In addition, Ashley is Chairman of The Duchossois Family Foundation (TDFF). Founded in 1984, the foundation focuses on the veteran population and strives to empower individuals to enhance their quality of life through wellness and economic opportunity.

Outside of DCM and TDFF, Ashley serves as a trustee for the University of Chicago, and on the Executive Committee. She is also on the board of the UChicago Medical Center, as a member of the Executive Committee and as chair of the Governance Committee. Ashley serves on the national board of the Smithsonian Institution and was recently named a director of the Economic Club of Chicago. Additionally, she serves on the Illinois State’s Attorney Business Advisory Council.

For more than twenty years, she has been involved with the not-for-profit organization, Metropolitan Family Services, in various leadership positions. She was honored to be named one of Crain’s Chicago Business 2025 Women of Influence.

Ashley received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado and her Master’s from the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice. She lives in Chicago with her husband, Michael, and their sons, Charlie and Owen.

Craig Duchossois

Chair Emeritus

Craig is Chair Emeritus of Duchossois Capital Management (DCM), the family’s private investment firm headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.

Craig serves as Chair Emeritus of The Duchossois Group, Inc. (TDG), a privately held, family business headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.

Craig’s not-for-profit board memberships include Aiken Horse Park Foundation, Culver Educational Foundation, Illinois Institute of Technology and Trustee Emeritus for UChicago and UChicago Hospital. Additionally, he is a member of the Chief Executives’ Organization, YPO Skyline Gold, Economic Club and the Civic Committee of The Commercial Club of Chicago. Craig is a past-Chairman of the Board of Visitors for the United States Naval Academy. He has served on numerous public, private and ESOP boards. 

Craig holds a BBA and MBA from Southern Methodist University. He served as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1968-1971.

Craig and his wife Janet have two children and five grandchildren.

Rich Naski

Richard A. Naski, II

Chief Executive Officer

Rich is Chief  Executive Officer of Duchossois Capital Management (DCM), responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm to drive long-term value creation while providing best-in-class service and advice to DCM’s principals.

Rich is a member of DCM’s investment committee and also serves as Chairman and CEO of Travers Trust Company LLC.  He joined the Duchossois organization in 2016, and previously served as head of the Duchossois family office. He was named Chief Operating Officer of DCM in 2023 prior to assuming leadership of the firm in April 2024.

Before joining Duchossois, Rich practiced law as a Member at Bodman PLC in Detroit, Michigan and, before that, as a Partner at Winston & Strawn LLP in Chicago, Illinois.  As an attorney, Rich counseled families and their businesses on a variety of tax planning and transactional matters including tax and estate planning, corporate governance and succession planning, private trust company formation, and charitable planning.

Beyond DCM, Rich serves as an independent Investment and Distribution Committee Member for a Forbes 400 family’s private trust company. He is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago, as well as various national family office executive peer networks.

Rich received his B.A. from the University of Michigan and his J.D. cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School.

David Jallits

David J. Jallits

Chief Investment Officer

David serves as Chief Investment Officer at Duchossois Capital Management (DCM), and is responsible for all investments across DCM, both public and private.

Previously, David was the CIO of Signature, where he led the investment team in allocating over $4 billion globally across all asset classes, public and private.  David was also a member of the Executive Committee at Signature, which was responsible for driving firm strategy and allocating capital accordingly.

Prior to Signature, David was a Managing Director at Cambridge Associates, where he was the Head of Global Investment Research.  At Cambridge, David led a team of 150 people responsible for all investment manager and operational due diligence, portfolio valuation analysis and research publications.  David was also a member of the Executive Committee at Cambridge Associates.

Prior to Cambridge Associates, David directly managed over $4 billion at a global macro hedge fund and $3 billion at a mutual fund.

David serves on the Advisory Board of the Chicago Booth Family Office Initiative and is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago. He also has served on the Alternatives Investment Committee at Swarthmore College and is on the advisory board of Higher Admission.

David is a former member of the Board of Trustees for the College of William & Mary Foundation and the College of William & Mary Investment Committee.

David was named Hedge Fund Consultant of the Year in 2014 by Institutional Investor Magazine.

David has a BS from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Finance with a concentration in Economics.

Daniel Terlep

Daniel M. Terlep

Chief Financial Officer

Dan is Chief Financial Officer at Duchossois Capital Management (DCM), and is responsible for leading the finance, accounting, tax and technology teams.

Dan joined the Duchossois organization in 2024 after serving in various management and committee roles at Cresset, including the CFO of Cresset’s real estate business and former head of CFO Services for Cresset’s significant wealth advisory business.

Dan’s broad experience started with his seven years working with family offices, UHNW, and investment funds at Deloitte and his decade working in a single-family office (SFO) whereby he helped shape the SFO from a start-up enterprise to an institutional quality SFO with affiliated real estate and private equity companies.

Dan is a CPA and received his B.A. from Northern Illinois University in Accounting.

Kristen Danyluk

General Counsel

Kristen is General Counsel for Duchossois Capital Management (DCM), responsible for overseeing all legal matters across the organization.

Kristen joined Duchossois Capital Management after serving as general counsel for a credit-focused investment manager.  She was previously in-house counsel for a large insurance company, leading the legal function for the alternative and private asset portfolio and leading cross-functional teams in strategic transactions.
Prior to her in-house roles, Kristen was a partner at Quarles & Brady LLP, primarily representing institutional investors in all aspects of their fund investments, co-investments, and secondary transactions.  Kristen started her career as an M&A associate at a large Chicago-based law firm.

Kristen received her A.B. in Economics from Cornell University and her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.

Jenny Hager

EVP Client Service

Jenny is Executive Vice President of Client Service for Duchossois Capital Management (DCM), and serves as head of the family office for the Duchossois family.

She also serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Travers Trust Company LLC, a private trust company chartered in South Dakota.

Prior to joining the Duchossois organization in 2012, Jenny worked at Harris myCFO as a director in their tax group with a focus on servicing single family offices.

Jenny received her B.S. in Accounting from the University of Indianapolis and she is a CPA.

Mike Flannery

Michael E. Flannery

Senior Advisor

Mike is the former CEO of the firm and now serves as an advisor to the team and the Duchossois family.

Prior to his role as the leader of DCM, Mike served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Duchossois Group and was the Chief Executive Officer of Trinity Rail Group, LLC, a leading designer and manufacturer of rail cars for the North American and European markets.

Mike has also served as Vice Chairman of Thrall Car, a predecessor company to Trinity Rail, and as Chief Administrative Officer of The Duchossois Group. He began his career as a lawyer with the Chicago firm of Burke, Griffin, Chomicz and Wienke and served as Corporate Counsel for Cummins Inc.

Mike received his B.S. degree in Finance from the University of Illinois in Champaign, Illinois and his J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana. He is a member of the Board of Directors of The Chamberlain Group, Inc., Maritz, Inc., Hub Group, Walbec Group, Energy Distribution Partners, the Board of Trustees at the Field Museum, the Board of Visitors for the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, and the Board of Directors of the Executives’ Club of Chicago. He is also a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization, Chief Executives Organization, the Economic Club of Chicago, and the Commercial Club of Chicago.

Lauren Bugay

Lauren K. Bugay

Managing Director

Lauren is Managing Director at Duchossois Capital Management (DCM), responsible for portfolio of investments in both private equity and public securities.

She also oversees the fund selection for DCM’s externally managed capital.

Prior to her current role, Lauren was the Director of Business Development for The Duchossois Group. She was responsible for the organization’s merger and acquisition activity, as well as provided strategic and financial support for the operating companies. Lauren began her career in Corporate Finance at William Blair & Company, executing merger and acquisition transactions, as well as public and private equity offerings.

Lauren received a BBA from the University of Notre Dame, summa cum laude, and went on to earn her MBA, with honors, from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She is a CFA charterholder.

Mike Barry

Principal

Mike is Principal for Duchossois Capital Management (DCM), responsible for the investment activities which include sourcing, evaluating and executing private equity and real estate investments.

Prior to joining DCM, Mike was a Senior Associate at Altus Capital Partners, a middle market-focused private equity firm that invests in the North American manufacturing sector. He was responsible for executing leveraged buyout transactions and implementing portfolio company strategic initiatives. Mike began his career in the investment banking group at BB&T Capital Markets, executing merger and acquisition transactions and public equity offerings across industrial, logistics and transportation, healthcare, and financial institution sectors.

Mike received a BSBA in Corporate Finance and International Business from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina and an MBA in Finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Harry Storer

Harry P. Storer

Vice President

Harry is Vice President at Duchossois Capital Management (DCM), responsible for investments in externally managed funds.

Prior to joining DCM, Harry was an Associate Investment Director at Cambridge Associates, where he was a member of the Hedge Fund Research Group.  In his role, Harry was responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and monitoring both current and prospective manager investments.

Harry received a BSBA in Finance from the University of Miami.

Kelly Whitney

Kelly E. Whitney

Vice President

Kelly is responsible for the direct investment activities of Duchossois Capital Management (DCM), including evaluating and executing private and public equity investments.

Prior to joining DCM, Kelly was an Analyst in the Industrials Group at Houlihan Lokey, where she primarily focused on mergers and acquisitions for public and private companies across various industry verticals.

Kelly was responsible for multiple aspects of M&A transactions, including marketing materials, financial modeling and due diligence on both sell-side and buy-side opportunities.

Kelly received a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA in Finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Michelle Waldusky

Director of Investment Operations

Michelle is Director of Investment Operations at Duchossois Capital Management (DCM), responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of  investment valuations, performance reporting, communication, and compliance.

Michelle joined The Duchossois Group as a member of the Corporate Finance team. Her responsibilities have included managing the general accounting and financial reporting team, as well as overseeing the accounting for various employee benefit plans. Previously, Michelle worked with Deloitte & Touche in the audit division.

Michelle graduated from the University of Illinois with a B.S. in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant.

Mallory Dehaven

Director of Finance and Accounting

Mallory is Director of Finance & Accounting at Duchossois Capital Management (DCM), responsible for accounting, financial reporting, and treasury activities. 

Prior to joining DCM, Mallory was Vice President of Strategy and Analytics at E15 Group, a Chicago-based consulting firm. She was responsible for the firm’s largest external client relationship, delivering strategic value using data driven and analytical approaches. Previously, she spent the majority of her career at Citadel serving in a variety of roles across the back and front office. Her responsibilities included corporate accounting, financial planning and analysis, and retail equity trading operations. She started her career in private accounting,

Mallory holds a B.A. in Accounting from Butler University and an MBA in Finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Parul Patel

Parul M. Patel

Director of Finance and Accounting

Parul Patel is Director of Finance & Accounting for Client service at Duchossois Capital Management (DCM), and is responsible for overseeing accounting, finance, and treasury functions for the Duchossois family.

Prior to joining DCM in 2021, Parul was the CFO of Central Square Management LLC, a long/short equity-based hedge fund in the Chicagoland area. She was previously the Controller at Cedar Hill Associates focusing on private equity and fund of fund vehicles and was a Director at RSM McGladrey LLP, serving numerous financial services clients.

Parul graduated from DePaul University with a B.S. in Accountancy. She is a CPA and is a member of the Illinois CPA Society.

David Dailey

David M. Dailey

Director of Client Service

David is the Director of Client Service for Duchossois Capital Management (DCM), and is responsible for providing family members with proactive financial planning.

Prior to joining DCM, David was a Vice President at Graystone Consulting in Chicago providing financial advice to families primarily focusing on cash flow, education and the implementation of tax and estate planning strategies.

David received a B.A. in Economics and History from Western Michigan University.  He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and a member of the Chicago Estate Planning Council.

Tom McDonough

Thomas E. McDonough

Director of IT

Tom is Director of Information Technology at Duchossois Capital Management (DCM), and is responsible for technology including enterprise IT strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and vendor governance.

Prior to joining DCM, Tom served as Director of IT for several real estate firms, including Newcastle Investors and Magellan Development, where he led internal IT operations, technology strategy, and cybersecurity initiatives.

Earlier in his career, Tom held key IT senior leadership roles in private equity at Madison Dearborn Partners and Lake Capital, overseeing infrastructure, strategic planning, and managed strategic technology partnerships.

Tom received an BS in Design Technical Theater from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville.
